Exploring the role of nature connection and contact
Challenge
Our planet has experienced a rapid urbanisation during the last century, with approximately 50% of the global population now living in urban areas. By 2050, this figure is expected to exceed 65% (United Nations, 2015). This trend raises significant public health concerns, as exposure to and connection with nature is associated with numerous health benefits. As a result, understanding the role of nature contact and connection on human health has become an increasingly important research area.

I am currently contributing to the development and writing of academic studies that explore the impact of nature connection and contact on a range of outcomes, soon to be published.
